Harlye is an associate attorney in Newmeyer Dillion’s Walnut Creek office.  Harlye is a skilled trial lawyer with extensive experience representing and advising clients in a wide-variety of high-stakes and high-visibility matters.

Prior to joining Newmeyer Dillion, Harlye served for 13 years as a Judge Advocate in the United States Marine Corps.  During her time in the Marine Corps, Harlye served as a prosecutor, Pentagon legal advisor, and a legal advisor for special operations in Afghanistan.

Harlye bases her legal practice on one key focus: providing superior legal work that will propel clients through their legal needs. Her unique background offers a variety of skill sets, including:

  • An excellence in representing and advising clients. Harlye leverages her past experience assisting clients in a myriad of topics including fiscal, landlord tenant, consumer, family, contract, administrative, and criminal law.
  • An understanding of the judicial system and trial advocacy. Prior to joining the firm, Harlye served as a prosecutor at multiple military bases and as the Senior Prosecutor for Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton. Harlye prosecuted, tried, and provided oversight in hundreds of cases involving both military and civilians, including those charged with murder, rape, larceny, and fraud. Harlye has been a part of dozens of matters that were tried to verdict and obtained convictions in numerous complex and high-profile matters.
